Sedona, Arizona, is famous for its stunning red rock landscapes, spiritual energy vortexes, and vibrant arts community. But after a day of exploring the area's natural beauty and cultural charm, you'll likely want to indulge in some great pizza. If you're craving a slice of heaven, Sedona's pizza scene will have you cheesin' from ear-to-ear! Here's a guide to the best pizza restaurants in Sedona that will satisfy your appetite and leave you coming back for more.

This is a video clip showing the Margherita Pizza at Pisa Lisa in Sedona, Arizona.

We couldn't wait to eat it; as you will notice my daughter grabbing the pizza before the clip is over!

1. Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen

For a unique twist on traditional pizza, Picazzo’s offers a menu focused on organic and gluten-free options, catering to health-conscious diners without sacrificing flavor. Try their signature "Vegan Margherita" or the "Sedona" pizza topped with roasted artichokes, spinach, and caramelized onions. The warm, inviting atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking.

2. Pisa Lisa

Pisa Lisa is a local favorite for wood-fired, thin-crust pizza. Their "Funghi De Bosca" with wild mushrooms and truffle oil is a must-try and it's my personal favorite! With its modern décor and fun vibe, Pisa Lisa is an ideal spot for families and groups. They have locations in both West Sedona and Village of Oak Creek so no matter where you're staying, you aren't far from some of Sedona's best pizza.

3. The Hideaway House

Tucked away with incredible views of Sedona’s red rocks, The Hideaway House is more than just a pizza joint. Their "Green Chili Chicken" pizza is a crowd-pleaser, blending a Southwest twist with traditional Italian flavors. My personal favorite is The laid-back, homestyle setting makes it perfect for a casual meal.

4. Gerardo's Italian Kitchen

Gerardo's is a local favorite and little bit of a "hidden gem". It offers a taste of authentic Italian cuisine, with a pizza menu that includes classics like Margherita as well as creative options like the "Fig and Pig," featuring fig jam, prosciutto, and arugula. This cozy restaurant is ideal for couples looking for a romantic dinner.

5. Vino Di Sedona

If you’re in the mood for a casual yet sophisticated dining experience, head to Vino Di Sedona. I might be a little biased; I had my first date with my fiancé here (so you know it's good). While it's primarily known for its extensive wine selection, their flatbreads and pizzas pair perfectly with a glass of local Arizona wine. Try the "Prosciutto & Arugula" flatbread for a delightful treat. Check their website for local music performances. They have an awesome outdoor patio where the ambiance is magical.

6. Rotten Johnny’s Wood-Fired Pizza Pie

For lovers of traditional wood-fired pizza, Rotten Johnny’s delivers bold flavors and fresh ingredients. It's worth the drive to the Village of Oak Creek but if you're staying in VOC, you're in luck! Their "Porky Pie," featuring spicy sausage and smoked bacon, is a local favorite. The casual atmosphere and quick service make it a great spot for a relaxed meal.

7. Sedona Pizza Company

Located in the heart of Uptown Sedona, Sedona Pizza Company is a fantastic option for tourists exploring the area. I live just across the street in Uptown Sedona and visit often with my kids. SPC specializes in Neapolitan-style pizza baked in a wood-fired oven. Their crust is thin, crispy, and perfectly charred, with toppings ranging from traditional Margherita to the "Meat Eater" for carnivores. Must-tries include the "Classic Margherita" and the "Sausage and Peppers." The outdoor seating area offers a relaxed vibe, making it a great spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

8. Famous Pizza & Beer

Looking for a laid-back, beer-friendly vibe that reminds you of the local pizza joint you worked-at back in high school? Famous Pizza & Beer has you covered! Their "Hawaiian Delight" and "Buffalo Chicken" pizzas are top picks. My personal favorite is the White but all of their pizza hits the spot! With a rotating selection of craft beers, this place is ideal for pizza and brew enthusiasts. Located in West Sedona near Dry Creek Road and with a location on Hwy 179 in the Village of Oak Creek, you can't miss it.

9. Moon Dogs Pizza

Tired from an active day and don't want to think about dinner or even leave to go get it? Check out Moon Dogs Pizza. Known for its generous toppings and fast delivery (to all of West Sedona, Uptown Sedona, and the Village of Oak Creek), Moon Dogs is a hit with locals and visitors alike. Build your own pizza or try one of their specialties like the "Meat Lovers" or the "Veggie Supreme." This no-frills spot is perfect for families or casual outings.

10. Domino's Pizza

Sometimes, you just need the familiar comfort of a classic chain, and Domino’s in Sedona delivers exactly that. Whether you’re craving their famous hand-tossed crust, pan pizzas, or stuffed cheesy bread, Domino’s is a quick and reliable option. Perfect for a late-night bite or a casual meal in your hotel room. Sometimes you go too hard on the mechanical bull at Stagecoach and you need a pick-me-up. Let's face it, Domino's still slaps whether you're at home or in Sedona.

Bonus Tips for Enjoying Sedona’s Pizza Scene

  • Reservations: Many of these popular spots can get busy during peak seaon (mostly fall and spring). Some restaurants, such as Pisa Lisa, do not take reservations at all whereas you definitely want to make reservations at others, such as Picazzo's. Calling ahead is recommended.

  • Outdoor Dining: Many of these restaurants offer outdoor seating with breathtaking views of Sedona’s iconic landscapes. Take advantage of the weather and dine al fresco.

  • Pair with Local Wines: Sedona’s wine scene is growing, so be sure to ask about local wine pairings to complement your pizza.
